Zoom Tooth Whitening (http://www.zoomnow.com)

Take a first step in feeling good and looking great with brighter, whiter teeth in about an hour.  ZOOM! teeth whitening is safe, effective, fast and performed only by a dental professional.  The procedure is simple.  We begin with a short preparation to cover the gums so that only the teeth are exposed.  The clinician will apply the gel and along with the ZOOM! lamp, they work together to penetrate the teeth breaking up stains and discoloration.  During this time you can relax and listen to some music.  Just like that, you can leave with a new smile.  Remember that even with the ZOOM! Process, you will still need to do touch up treatments at home with your personal take home trays.

Take Home Teeth Whitening

Your smile is important.  It’s one of the first things you notice when you meet someone new.  A whiter, brighter smile is beautiful and can help you feel better about yourself and make a memorable impression.  Your lifestyle and the aging process can stain and darken your teeth.  Many things we do on a regular basis can contribute to stained teeth, such as drinking coffee, tea, soda, red wine and smoking.  With the very simple use of bleaching gel and custom trays, within a couple of weeks, you can greatly improve your smile.  You will always have the trays on hand to do any necessary touch ups you made need.

Porcelain Veneers

Dental Veneers are custom designed shells of all porcelain material that when applied over the surface of a tooth, can cover worn tooth enamel, uneven tooth alignment or spacing and chips or cracks.  Dental veneers fall into the category of cosmetic dentistry because they can create a bright, white smile with beautifully aligned and shaped teeth.  Even better, the translucent ceramic quality of today’s veneers provide for a more natural look than the veneers of the past.  These restorations will be bonded to the teeth providing a strong a stable restoration.  Depending on your smile, we will assess how many units will be required to achieve the perfect smile for each individual patient.

Invisalign (http://www.invisalign.com)

Invisalign is the newest innovation in orthodontic care.  To help straighten your teeth with nearly undetectable aligners, Invisalign is the way to go.  Whether your teeth are too crowded, too far apart or have shifted since wearing braces, you will have a new reason to smile with Invisalign.  Inquire with Dr. Alizadeh or our team and we can help you determine if you are a candidate.

Replacing Old Dentistry

Amalgam (silver) fillings were one of the greatest restorations in dentistry for many years.  They can last for many years but as with anything over time, they eventually need to be replaced.  So many times, we see silver fillings that have broken down and the margins are open due to expansion and contraction of the amalgam.  This allows bacteria to seep underneath the existing filling and cause recurrent decay otherwise known as a cavity.  Although we do sometimes suggest replacing the old silver as a preventative measure, 9 out of 10 times, once the old restoration is removed we do find new active decay.  As dental technology has progressed through the years, we now have much better, stronger materials to work with.  Using composite (white filling) materials allows us to bond the material to the tooth.  This helps to seal all the tubules in the tooth decreasing sensitivity.  So, not only are you restoring your teeth functionally, you will also achieve a nice cosmetic result.  Most insurance plans will assist you with the payment of these restorations.
